Mexico City 6 Days / 5 Nights Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival Day

Welcome to Mexico City! In the evening, meet your tour leader and fellow travellers and head out to one of the city’s local restaurants to start indulging in delicious Mexican cuisine. Rest up in your centrally located accommodation.

Day 2 | Historic Center

Start the day with breakfast at one of the most beautiful cafés in the Historic Center. Then, take a guided walking tour of Centro Histórico, seeing the famous Templo Mayor, the main square, Zócalo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Palace of Fine Arts, Palacio de Bellas Artes. Enjoy a free afternoon and evening to explore your preferred museums, discover local eateries, or relax at one of the city's many bars.

Day 3 | South of the City

In the morning, take a boat ride along the Xochimilco canals, complete with lunch at a local chinampa. Afterwards, explore the artistic streets of Coyoacán with plenty of free time to discover the neighbourhood at your own pace. Optional evening: Ballet Folklórico show (tickets not included).

Day 4 | Free Day in Mexico City

Today is yours to explore Mexico City at your own pace. Visit some of the city's world-class museums, discover another neighbourhood, enjoy a long lunch, or simply take the day to relax. Optional morning experience: join a guided market and food tour, learning about Mexico's culinary traditions through local markets, fresh produce, and a mini cooking experience. Optional evening: Lucha Libre wrestling match (tickets not included).

Day 5 | Teotihuacan & Roma/Condesa

In the morning, travel to the ancient city of Teotihuacan. Explore the impressive archaeological site, including the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, visit an obsidian workshop, and enjoy a traditional lunch. Return to Mexico City in the afternoon and enjoy free time to stroll through the stylish streets of Roma and Condesa.

Day 6 | Departure

Departure day. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some final moments in Mexico City before continuing your journey home.

Group Size & Confirmation
Minimum 4 (maximum 12) travelers are required for this tour. Once 4 spots are filled, the departure is confirmed and you can book your flights. If the group isn’t full yet, final confirmation will be given 60 days before the tour starts, well in time to secure travel plans.

Pace & Physical Level
Easy – suitable for most travelers. Expect walking, occasional stairs, and standing during tours. No strenuous activity is required, though there is plenty of walking to fully explore the sites.

Optional activities & tickets
Tickets for Ballet Folklórico, Lucha Libre, and the Frida Kahlo Museum are not included. We’re happy to advise you on the best days and times to visit and can help you plan these experiences. Entrance fees are included only for the attractions specifically listed in the itinerary. This gives you freedom to choose your preferred museums and attractions to visit on your free time.

• Tour package with shared room (per person): USD 1,495. Price per person in double occupancy. Please note that this room requires a roommate. Let us know if you would like us to try to help you match with another traveler for this trip.

• Tour package with private room (per person): USD 1,795. This package allows one traveler to stay in a private room.
