Day 1 | Arrival Day
Welcome to Mexico City! After check-in, meet your tour leader and fellow travelers for a welcome dinner at one of the city’s local restaurants. Rest up in your centrally located accommodation.
Day 2 | Historic Center & Templo Mayor
Dive into Mexico City’s history. Guided tour with a local guide of the ruins of the Templo Mayor, the Zócalo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and murals at the Palacio de Bellas Artes. Evening optional Ballet Folklórico (tickets not included).
Day 3 | Day Trip to Teotihuacan
Venture out to the ancient city of Teotihuacan on a guided tour. Climb the pyramids of the Sun and Moon, visit an obsidian workshop, and enjoy a traditional lunch. Dedicate the afternoon to strolling the streets of the famous neighborhoods of Roma and Condesa. Optional evening: the thrilling Lucha Libre show (tickets not included).
Day 4 | Xochimilco & Coyoacán
In the morning, embark on a boat ride along the Xochimilco canals, complete with lunch at a local chinampa. Afterwards, visit the artistic streets of Coyoacán. You’ll also visit a cemetery to see the elaborate altars and offerings prepared by locals in honor of the Day of the Dead tradition.
Day 5 | Departure
Departure day. Leave with unforgettable memories and a deeper connection to Mexico City.

Group Size & Confirmation
This tour requires a minimum of 4 travelers. Once 4 spots are filled, the departure is confirmed and you can book your flights. If the group isn’t full yet, the final confirmation date is 60 days before the tour starts—well in time to secure travel plans.
Pace & Physical Level
Easy – suitable for most travelers. Expect walking, occasional stairs, and standing during tours. No strenuous activity is required, though there is plenty of walking to explore the sites.
Day of the Dead Update
Mexico City’s Day of the Dead events—parades and street celebrations—are announced close to the date. If they occur during the tour, the schedule will be adjusted where possible so travelers can participate, but attendance cannot be guaranteed.
